Brett Hull

As the son of Hockey Hall of Famer Bobby Hull, Brett Hull has followed in his famous father's footsteps as one of the greatest goal-scorers in the NHL. His 86 goals in 1990-91 rank as the third-highest single-season total in history behind Wayne Gretzky's 92 in 1981-82 and 87 in 1983-84. Hull scored his 500th career goal on December 22, 1996 to make him and Bobby the only father-son combination ever to each reach the milestone.

Though he was born in Belleville, Ontario, Hull holds dual Canadian and U.S. citizenship and represented the United States at the World Championships in 1986, where he collected seven goals and four assists in 10 games. He also played for the U.S. in the 1991 Canada Cup (tying for the team lead in scoring with Mike Modano with nine points) and was selected as an All-Star after leading the tournament in scoring with seven goals and four assists in seven games when the Americans beat Canada in the World Cup of Hockey in 1996. Hull was also a member of the U.S. Olympic hockey team at the Nagano Games in 1998. Hull returned to the Olympics with Team U.S.A. in 2002 and earned a silver medal while being his team's top scorer with eight points. Hull was also a member of Team USA at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey, but as an aging scorer only suited up for two games.
