Allan Van

Allan Van enjoyed one of the longest careers in United States National Team history. He first represented his country internationally at the 1938 World Championships and made his last appearance with the silver medal-winning team that finished behind only Canada at the 1952 Oslo Olympics. Van also appeared at the 1939 World Championships (where the Americans finished second behind Canada) and returned to international competition following World War II as a member of the bronze medal-winning U.S. team at the 1949 World Championships. Van also played at the 1950 World Championships, where the Americans once again finished second behind their Canadian rivals. Star Player Photo
