Kevin Stevens

Kevin Stevens and Jeremy Roenick became the first American-born players to score 50 goals in back-to-back NHL seasons when they each reached the milestone in 1991-92 and 1992-93. Stevens' 55 goals during the 1992-93 seasons tied Jimmy Carson's 1987-88 record for the most goals ever scored by an American player in a single season.

Stevens played with the U.S. National Team in 1987-88 and made his NHL debut with the Pittsburgh Penguins on March 1, 1988 after playing at the Calgary Olympics. He would later represent the United States at the World Championships in 1987, 1990, and 1996. He earned a bronze medal at the 1996 tournament when the Americans returned to the podium for the first time in A-Pool competition since 1962.
