Jeremy Roenick

Jeremy Roenick has been a fixture on Team U.S.A. since 1988. A gritty forward with a soft touch and knack for throwing the big hit, Roenick is often the driving force behind Team U.S.A.

Roenick has participated in the Olympics twice, earning a silver medal in 2002 while chipping in five points, and a member of the Olympic national team in 1998. Roenick competed in two international tournaments in 1991 and he was the top U.S. player in both tournaments. He scored six points in eight games to help Team U.S.A. reach the finals against victorious Team Canada in the 1991 Canada Cup and was named the tournament all-star right wing. Roenick then played in the 1991 World Championship where the team finished fourth and Roenick led all American players in points with five goals and six assists.

Roenick also represented his country twice in the World Junior Championships playing in both the 1987-88 tournament and the fifth place 1988-89 team.

As a professional Roenick has been a sparkplug in every city he has played. His NHL stops include the Chicago Blackhawks, Phoenix Coyotes and Philadelphia Flyers and he has led each of those teams in scoring for at least one season. His resume includes two 50 goal seasons and three 100 point seasons all with the Chicago Blackhawks. Roenick is also an all-star game favorite, participating 9 times and always looking for a hit to spice up the game.
