A high-scoring blueliner in the NHL who holds the Washington Capitals record for goals by a defenseman with 34 in 1992-93, Kevin Hatcher first represented the United States in international hockey at the World Junior Championships in 1984. He would later play for his country at the Canada Cup in 1987 and 1991 and was a member of the American team that beat the Canadians in the finals of the World Cup of Hockey in 1996. Hatcher was also a member of the U.S. Olympic Team at Nagano in 1998. |
