Chris Terreri was an All-American goalie at Providence College when he first represented the United States at the World Championships in 1985. He also played for the U.S. at the tournament while still with Providence in 1986 and returned in 1987 after making his NHL debut with the New Jersey Devils.
Following his first professional season, Terreri chose to hone his skills with the U.S. National Team in 1987-88, sharing the net with Mike Richter that year and playing at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. It would not be until the World Championships in 1997 that Terreri once again had the chance to represent the United States in international play. |
