Later played for Tatra Smichov (1951 to 1953), Spartak Sokolovo Praha (1953 to 1964) ... Won the national championship in 1954 ... Saw action in 300 games in 14 seasons in the Czechoslovak League and scored 86 goals ... Choose coaching career after retiring as a player ... Coached Sparta Praha (1964 to 1967 and 1971 to 1973), German club EV Landshut (1967 to 1970 and 1980 to 1983) ... EV Landshut won the German national title in 1969-70 and 1982-83.
