Kirk Muller

Kirk Muller first represented Canada in international hockey at the World Junior Championships in 1984 and was later added to the Canadian National Team, where it was hoped his goal-scoring ability would bolster Canada's chances at the Olympics that year in Sarajevo. The 18-year-old Muller contributed two goals in six games at the Olympics, but the low-scoring Canadian squad was shut out in all three games that made up the medal round and wound up in fourth place.

Over the next five seasons, Muller would join Team Canada at the World Championships four times (1985, 1986, 1987 and 1989). He was a silver medal winner in 1985 and 1989 and earned a bronze in 1986. The 1989 tournament was Muller's best as he scored six goals and added four assists for 10 points in nine games.
