Career The first Polish player ever drafted by an NHL team ... Boston's fifth choice, 106th overall, in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft ... As a junior, he became relatively well-grounded in the game after playing on GKS Tycht (1990-91) which was coached by player-coach Henryk Gruth, one of the most respected hockey veterans in Poland ... From 1991 to 1994, he played in Sweden, two seasons with Djurgardens IF Stockholm and one year with Hammarby IF (Division 2) ... Signed a contract with the Boston Bruins at the end of the 1993-94 season ... Has played with Edmonton and the New York Islanders.
