The best offensive defenseman on Canada's National Women's Team, Geraldine Heaney was a member of World Championship squads in 1990, 1992, 1994 and 1997. In both 1992 and 1994 she was named the Best Defenseman at the Women's World Championship, an honor that she also garnered at the Pacific Rim Championship in 1996.
