Nancy Drolet

Nancy Drolet scored three goals, including the game-winner in overtime, when Canada beat the United States in the gold medal game at the 1997 Women's World Championships. She was also a member of Canada's championship teams in 1994 and 1992 and represented her country at the Pacific Rim Championship in 1996. Drolet also played on the Canadian team that settled for a silver medal behind the United States at the 1998 Olympic Games in Nagano. Drolet went on to win gold at the 1999, 2000 and 2001 World Championships. During the 2001 World Championships she led her team in scoring with 11 points. Drolet was a member of Canada's silver medal-winning softball team at the 1991 Pan-American Games and was the Sports Federation of Canada's Junior Athlete of the Year in 1992. Star Player Photo
