Frank Huck joined the Canadian National Team in 1965-66 and was a member of the squad until the program was disbanded in 1970. He then went on to a professional career that saw him play briefly with the Montreal Canadiens and St. Louis Blues in the NHL and with the Winnipeg Jets and Minnesota Fighting Saints in the World Hockey Association.
Huck made his international debut with the Nats at the 1966 World Championships, leading the club with eight points on four goals and four assists. He helped Canada earn a bronze medal that year and was named to the tournament All-Star Team. Huck led Canada with 11 points (five goals and six assists) at the 1967 World Championships and earned other bronze medal. He again led Canada in scoring with the bronze medal-winning Olympic team in 1968, collecting four goals and five assists. |
