Bobby Clarke

Bobby Clarke was one of only five players (Phil Esposito, Paul Henderson, Yvon Cournoyer and Brad Park) to play all eight games for Team Canada at the history 1972 Summit Series with the Soviet Union. Clarke's six points (two goals and four assists) ranked third on the team behind Esposito and Henderson.

Four years later, on January 11, 1976, Clarke led his Philadelphia Flyers to a 4-1 victory over the Central Red Army team in a game remembered for the Soviet team's decision to leave the ice in protest of the Flyers' tactics. It was the only game the Red Army team lost during its four-game "Super Series" tour. In September of that year, Clarke was a member of the Team Canada squad that won the inaugural Canada Cup tournament. His final international appearance came at the World Championships in 1982, helping Canada earn a bronze medal.
