Statsnty's point totals in the 1980s topped only by Wayne Gretzky ... Had 100 points or more in seven of 15 NHL seasons with Quebec, New Jersey and St.Louis ... Played in the NHL All-Star Game in 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1986 and 1988 ... Recorded 450 goals and 789 assists for 1,239 points in 977 regular season games ... Added 33 goals and 72 assists for 105 points in 93 playoff games ... Was the top-scoring European in NHL history until being surpassed by Jari Kurri.
