| Jamie Macoun was a member of Team Canada at the World Championships in 1985, 1990 and 1991, winning a silver medal at the event in 1985 and 1991. Macoun was named the Best Defenseman at the 1991 tournament. In addition to his solid play in his own end, he had four goals in eight games at the World Championship that year, more than half the total of seven goals he had scored in 79 games with the Calgary Flames during the NHL season. |
