Hong Guo

Hong Guo was a member of the Chinese National Team at the Women's World Championships in 1992 and 1994. She emerged as one of the top goaltenders in women's hockey at the Pacific Rim Championship, helping China earn a bronze medal in 1995 and being named the Best Goalie at the event when China earned another bronze medal in 1996. Her stellar goaltending at the Nagano Olympics led China to the bronze medal game against Finland, though the Chinese team had to settle for fourth place after a 4-1 loss to the Finns.
