International Born in the former Soviet Union, he began his hockey career in Moscow with Krylja Sovetov and later played in the top Soviet League with Krylja Sovetov Moscow, Izhstal Izhevsk and Torpedo Togliatti (Division 2) ... After finishing his career in Russia, he accepted the invitation to play hockey in Croatia ... Became a Croatian citizen and was invited to play for the National Team in 1995 ... Had a brilliant performance at the 1995 World Championship (Pool C2) when the Croatian team won the tournament ... He was the best scorer on his team at that event and second overall with 12 goals and five assists for 17 points in six games ... Named the Best Forward of the tournament ... Played in two other World Championships for Croatia.
