| Josef Golonka was born on January 6, 1938 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. He appeared in 134 national team games and scored 82 goals. A forward and long time captain, Golonka participated in eight IIHF World Championship tournaments winning three silver and three bronze medals. He also participated in three Olympics Winter Games winning one silver and one bronze medal. |
