Future NHL Stars At Lake Placid
Nineteen-Eighty Olympic gold-medalists Neal Broten, Dave Christian, Mark Johnson, Ken Morrow, Jack O'Callahan, and Mike Ramsey were all still active in the NHL a decade after their Miracle On Ice. In total, eleven players from this team went on to become regulars in the NHL.

Hobey Baker Memorial Award
This award is named after Hobey Baker, considered the finest hockey player in the US during the 1910's and who tragically died in a 1918 plane crash. It is presented annually to the outstanding collegiate hockey player in the United States. Past winners include Neal Broten and Paul Kariya.


Christian Brothers Inc.
Bill and Roger Christian, gold-medalists in 1960, are the owners of The Christian Bros Stick Co. Bill's son Dave, a member of the 1980 Olympic gold-medal team, used their brand of stick to ring up 340 career goals in the NHL.

MVP USA
Robbie Ftorek's wore this jersey at the 1976 Inaugural Canada Cup tournament, where he earned team MVP honors.

America's First Centurion
Neal Broten, a gold-medalist in 1980, was the first American-born player to reach the 100-point plateau in an NHL season. He hit the milestone on March 26, 1986, and finished the campaign with 105 points.
