Gainey wore this jersey as a member of the Epinal Ecureuils of the French Second Division during the 1989-90 season, his final professional campaign.

A Team Canada jersey worn by Bob Gainey during the 1981 Canada Cup. Soviet national team coach Viktor Tikhonov claimed Gainey was "the world's best all-around player" following the tournament.
