Alex Delvecchio's Detroit Red Wings jersey (circa early 1970s). Alex served as team captain from 1962 to 1973.
The NHL career of Alex Delvecchio lasted twenty-four seasons. In that time, he appeared on numerous hockey cards including (from left to right) this Parkhurst 1952-53 card, 1964-65 Topps card, and 1973-74 O-Pee-Chee card.
Three of Delvecchio's prized sticks. From top to bottom: his milestone 400th goal stick from the 1970-71 season; his 437th goal stick from the 1971-72 season; and the stick he used to record his 456th and last NHL goal, scored in 1974.
