Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy

In 2009-10, two of the NHL’s youngest and brightest stars tied for the lead in goals and as such, for just the second time in NHL history, the Rocket Richard Trophy was shared between multiple winners.

Sidney Crosby added a new dimension to his play in 2009-10. Long known as one the best playmakers in the game, he exploded for 51 goals, shattering his previous career best of 39 set in his rookie season.

In just his second NHL season, Steven Stamkos showed the offensive ability that made him the number one overall selection in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, matching Crosby shot for shot in reaching the 51-goal mark.
