Ray, Rob
Buffalo Sabres

Rob Ray became the first Buffalo Sabre to be awarded the King Clancy Memorial Trophy following the 1998-99 season. Ray had always been an avid supporter of numerous charities throughout his career. He held an annual golf tournament during the summer, benefiting the March of Dimes, was the honourary chairperson for Walk America and worked closely with the Make-A-Wish program, Roswell Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital. Along with his charity work, Ray served as alternate captain for the Sabres and was a team leader on and off the ice.
