Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Bobby Butler
Bobby Butler was born on April 26, 1987 in Marlborough, Massachusetts. A high school scoring sensation, Butler joined the University of New Hampshire in 2006 and would spend the next four years playing collegiately, helping UNH qualify for the NCAA tournament in each season.

Undrafted, Butler found himself a free agent when his college career came to an end and there was no shortage of suitors for the Hobey Baker Award finalist. He eventually inked a deal with the Ottawa Senators on March 29, 2010 and spent the remaining days of the season with the club. He would go on to appear in two games for the Senators though he would fail to register a point.
