Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Christian Hanson
Christian Hanson was born in March 10, 1986 in Glens Falls, New York. His father, Dave, is one of the legendary Hanson Brothers from the film Slapshot.

Christian played his collegiate hockey at the University of Notre Dame, spending four years with the Fighting Irish before signing as a free agent with the Toronto Maple Leafs towards the end of the 2008-09 season.

Though he would only appear in five NHL games in 2008-09, Hanson made a big impression on the Maple Leafs, scoring a goal and adding an assist. His first career goal came against none other than NHL star Martin Brodeur.
