Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Darroll Powe
Darrol Powe was born June 22, 1985 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He played his college hockey at the prestigious Princeton University, spending the final year of his collegiate career as team captain.

In April of 2008, Powe was signed by the Philadelphia Flyers and played 60 games for the club during the 2008-09 season. The hard-working forward managed to contribute 6 goals in his rookie campaign and added another goal in the Flyers brief 2009 playoff appearance.

After three solid, if unspectacular seasons with the Flyers, Powe was traded to the Minnesota Wild on June 27, 2011.

Powe appeared in all 82 games for the Wild during the 2011-12 season, scoring six times, adding seven assists for 13 points.

On February 4, 2013, Powe was traded by the Wild, along with Nick Palmieri, to the New York Rangers in exchange for rugged forward Mike Rupp.
