Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Pascal Pelletier
Pascal Pelletier was born June 16, 1983 in Labrador City, Newfoundland. Undrafted, Pelletier honed his skills in junior with Baie-Comeau and the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL.

Always an offensive threat, Pelletier got his professional hockey career started in the ECHL with the Louisiana Ice Gators. He was dealt by the Ice Gators to the Gwinnett Gladiators at the trade deadline that season and went on to split the following year between the ECHL club and the Bruins AHL affiliate in Providence. In 2006-07, Pelletier became a regular on the Providence Bruins line-up, appearing in 80 games he scored 49 points. He bettered those totals in 2007-08, registering 75 points in only 73 games and earning a call-up to six regular season games with the Boston Bruins.

In the summer of 2008, Pelletier's time with the B's came to an end when the club dealt the former Cataracte to the Chicgao Blackhawks.

The following summer Pelletier would sign with the Columbus Blue Jackets as a free agent. His time in Ohio would be short-lived however, he was shipped to St. Louis part way through the 09-10 season.
