Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Trevor Lewis
Trevor Lewis was born on January 8, 1987 in Salt lake City, Utah. After a great season with the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL, a year in which he would record 35 goals and 40 assists in just 56 games, Lewis was selected 16th overall by the LA Kings at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He played most of the next season with the Owen Sound Attack of the OHL, again putting up impressive offensive numbers. Toward the end of the 2006-07 season, Lewis would make his pro debut in the AHL for the Manchester Monarchs, scoring four goals in eight games.

Lewis would play the majority of the next two seasons in Manchester, but would make his NHL debut for Los Angeles in 2008-09, scoring a goal and notching three points in six games.

In 2011-12 Lewis was part of the Los Angeles Kings club that stormed through the Western Conference playoffs and defeated the New Jersey Devils to capture the first Stanley Cup in franchise history. Along the way Lewis chipped in with 9 points in 20 playoff games.

During the 2013-14 season, the Kings once again made it to the Stanley Cup Final where they would defeat the New York Rangers in five games. The win gave Lewis and the Kings their second Stanley Cup in three years.
