Drew Larman was born May 5, 1985 in canton, Michigan. The undrafted centreman is a graduate of the OHL's Sarnia Sting and London Knights.

An excellent penalty killer, Larman spent three seasons in Sarnia before joining the 2005 Memorial Cup Champion London Knights. That same year he was signed as a free agent by the Florida Panthers. As a member of the Panther organization, Larman would hone his skills with the club's AHL and ECHL affiliates in Rochester and Florida respectively. He made his NHL debut on November 13th, 2006 in a divisional contest against the Washington Capitals.

In the summer of 2009, Drew signed on with the Boston Bruins organization as an unrestricted free agent.
