Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Greg Stewart
Greg Stewart was born May 21, 1986 in Kitchener, Ontario. The eighth round, 246th overall selection in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft, Stewart honed his skills in the Ontario Hockey League with the Peterborough Petes.

A sizeable winger, Stewart capped off his three-year stint with the Petes by registering a career-high 39 points. With his days of junior hokey behind him, Stewart made his professional hockey debut with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. His time in Cincinnati was short lived however, after only a single season the Kitchener, Ontario native was brought up to the AHL's Hamilton Bulldogs. Stewart spent the majority of his time with the Bulldogs that season and managed to make his NHL debut in a late season game with the Habs.
