Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Kyle Brodziak
Kyle Brodziak was born May 25, 1984 in St. Paul, Alberta. The seventh round, 214th overall selection of the Edmonton Oilers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Brodziak is a graduate of the WHL's Moose Jaw Warriors.

After seasons of ten and 20 points, Brodziak broke out offensively in his final two years of junior, tallying 62 and 93 points respectively before making his professional debut with the AHL's Edmonton Roadrunners in the fall of 2004.

Following a strong rookie season with the Roadrunners, Brodziak made his NHL debut with the Oilers in 2005-06 while spending the majority of his time with the AHL's Iowa Stars.

With the Oilers having a surplus of scoring forwards, Brodziak was deemed expendable by management and at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft he was shipped to the Minnesota Wild. In 2011-12, Brodziak would have the most productive season of his career. Appearing in all 82 games he scored 22 times and added 22 assists for 44 points.

After six seasons with the Minnesota Wild, Brodziak was signed as an unrestricted free agent by the St. Louis Blues on July 2, 2015. In his third season with the Blues, Brodziak scored 10 goals and added 23 assists. The following summer he signed as a free agent to re-join the Edmonton Oilers.
