Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Brady Murray
Brady Murray was born August 17, 1984 in Brandon Manitoba. The fifth round, 152nd overall selection of the Los Angeles Kings in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Murray honed his skills at the University of North Dakota.

A natural skater, Murray scored 46 points and led the University of North Dakota to the NCAA Regional Finals in his first season. After being named Rookie of the Year and to the the WCHA All-Rookie Team in 2003-04, Murray suffered a number of injuries and struggled through his final season of college hockey. At the conclusion of his final season in North Dakota, Murray signed with the Rapperswil-Jona of the Swiss league. He spent two seasons in Switzerland before he signed a contract with the Los Angeles Kings that would bring him back to North America. His 2007-08 season was spent mostly with the Kings' AHL affiliate in Manchester on the club's second line, however he made his NHL debut that season with the Kings.
