Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- B.J. Crombeen
B.J. Crombeen was born July 10, 1985 in Denver, Colorado. The second round, 54th overall selection in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Crombeen spent four seasons honing his skills with the Barrie Colts of the OHL.

A skilled right winger, Crombeen capped-off his time in Barrie by leading the Colts as captain to the OHL playoffs. The following season the Denver, Colorado native made his professional hockey debut with the Stars' AHL affiliate in Iowa and also suited up for eight games with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL.

In 2006-07, Crombeen split his season between Idaho and Finland's Assa Pori via loan. He finished third on the Finish club in goals and returned to Idaho to help the club capture the ECHL championship. Crombeen returned to the AHL with Iowa in 2007-08 and went on to make his NHL debut with the Dallas Stars that year.
