Netminder Jim Stewart played one game for the Boston Bruins in 1979-80. He was a fine college player who went on to a decent career as a minor pro back up.
Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts Stewart played junior with the South Shore Whalers of the NEJHL before attending Holy Cross for two years. In 1978 he was named to the NCAA (College Division) East all-American team. The next year he signed with the Bruins as a free agent and played one game for them. The remainder of his career was spent in the minors in five different leagues before he retired in 1982.
