Goalie Bob Ring made one appearance for the Boston Bruins in 1965-66. He was better known as a fine junior and university player.
Ring played his junior hockey with the OHA's Niagara Falls Flyers. On October 30, 1965 he was pressed into service to replace the injured Ed Johnston during an 8-2 loss to the New York Rangers. Ring then moved on to Acadia University for four years and hung up his skates in 1970.
