Born in Boston, Massachusetts on September 29th, 1962 goaltender Clean Daskalakis enjoyed all of his career highlights in his hometown. Daskalakis was a two time All-Star an All-American and a Hobey Baker runner-up during his four years with Boston University then signed a deal with the Bruins shortly after graduation.
Daskalakis played 30 games in the minors during his first season of pro but also spent 8 games with Boston that year. Over the next two season Daskalakis played four more games, though Boston always had a glut of veteran netminder and there wasn't much room to break in. Daskalakis left the Bruins with 12 games and 3 victories to his credit.
After spending the 1987-88 season bouncing around the minors Daskalakis joined the United States National team briefly and also went to the World Championships as the teams spare netminder. He retired following the tournament.
