Ed Zeniuk was born March 8, 1933 in Landis, Saskatchewan. A defenseman with the Edmonton Poolers of the Edmonton Junior Hockey League (1950-51), Zeniuk spent the following two seasons with the Edmonton Oil Kings (1951-53) of the Western Canada Junior Hockey League and one season with the Edmonton Flyers (1953-54) and Seattle Bombers (1953-54) of the WHL.
In 1954-55, Zeniuk played in his only two NHL games for the 1954-55 Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings. Known more for his defensive capabilities, Zeniuk recorded no points in two games before returning to the Edmonton Flyers of the Western Hockey League where he spent most of the 1954-55 season.
Zeniuk began the 1955-56 season with the New Westminster Royals of the Western Hockey League before ending his season and career as a member of the Quebec Aces of the Quebec Hockey League.
