Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Ed Vokes
Left winger Ed Vokes lit the lamp 25 times during his second season with the Oakland Sheiks of the California Professional League and in December of 1930, the Sheiks traded him to the Chicago Black Hawks.

With the Hawks Vokes played just 5 games and did not register a point and Chicago soon traded him to a franchise in the International-American Hockey League.

The rest of his season was split between the London Tecumsehs and the Niagara Falls Cataracts but he was on the move again in 1931.

In 1931-32 Vokes joined the San Fransico Rangers of the Canadian-American League where he spent his final two campaigns before retiring in 1933.
