Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Nils Tremblay
When Nils Tremblay led the league in scoring, and also posted 30 points in 15 playoff games during his third season with the Quebec Aces, it seemed obvious that the talented center was ready for the next step.

The following year, 1944-45 Tremblay appeared in one regular season game with the Montreal Canadiens and suited up for two more playoff contests. He also managed to lead the Quebec Senior Hockey League in scoring for the second straight season. In 1945-46 Tremblay played two more games for Les Canadiens, but this time was held off the score sheet.

Tremblay returned to the Quebec loop fulltime in 1946 and enjoyed another highly productive year. After playing just five games the following year, in two different leagues Tremblay reestablished himself as a scoring star in the Quebec League when he joined the Ottawa Senators for the 1948-49 campaign.

Tremblay led the league with 71 assists and posted 106 points in his first of three seasons with the Ottawa club. By the time he joined the Sherbrooke Saints for a two-year stay his scoring was in decline. After scoring 48 points for the Riviere-du-Loup Raiders in 1953-54 Tremblay retired from the game.
