Center Mike Toal played three games with Edmonton Oilers in 1979-80. He was a top scorer in junior who enjoyed a solid if unspectacular pro career in the minors.

Born in Red Deer, Alberta, Toal played on four different clubs in three seasons in the WCJHL. He was chosen 105th overall by the Oilers after consecutive 30-goal seasons in junior. In 1979-80 he played three games in Edmonton and notched 31 goals for the CHL's Houston Apollos. After three years in the minors, Toal retired in 1982.
