Left-winger Morris Titanic played parts of two seasons with the Buffalo Sabres in the mid-70s. He was an explosive scorer in junior but was chiefly a minor leaguer in the pros.
The Toronto native was chosen 12th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in 1973 after he scored 61 goals for the OHA's Sudbury Wolves and was named to the league's first all-star team. He scored 31 goals for the AHL's Cincinnati Swords in 1973-74 then played 17 games for Buffalo the next. A combination of the Sabres' depth and the young forward's inability to raise the level of his game kept him in the minors. Titanic scored 26 goals for the IHL's Milwaukee Admirals in 1978-79 then retired 25 games into the next season.
