Right-winger Steve Stone played two games with the Vancouver Canucks in 1973-74. He was a talented goal scorer who put up impressive numbers in junior and the minors.

The Toronto native was taken 131st overall by the Canucks in 1972 after a 30-goal season with the Niagara Falls Flyers of the OHA. The clever forward scored 35 goals as a rookie pro with the Des Moines Capitols of the IHL in 1972-73 before getting a quick taste of the NHL the next year. He returned to the minors and was a solid player in the IHL and WHL before retiring in 1977.
