Centre Ryan Stewart played three games for the Winnipeg Jets in 1985-86. He was a talented goal scorer who was better known in junior and Europe.

Born in Houston, BC Stewart starred for several years in the WHL and was chosen 18th overall by Winnipeg in 1985. He was returned to junior and scored 45 goals for the Prince Albert Raiders in 1985-86 and made into three NHL games. Soon he was felled by injuries and was a part time minor leaguer. His health returned to the point he could join the Swindon Wildcats of the British League before he retired in 1993.
