Left-winger Jack Stanfield played one playoff game for the Chicago Black Hawks in 1965-66. He was a reliable goal scorer who played most of his career in the minors and the WHA.
The Toronto native was a junior B standout with the Dixie Beehives before moving up to the OHA's St. Catharines Teepees. In 1962-63 he scored 33 goals as a rookie pro with the Philadelphia Ramblers of the EHL. He continued in the minors for several years and was an injury replacement for the Hawks in the 1966 playoffs. In 1972 Stanfield signed with the WHA's Houston Aeros and helped the team win the Avco Cup the next year before retiring.
