Right-winger Clarence Schmidt played seven games with the Boston Bruins in 1943-44. He was a fine goal scorer in the minors during a pro career that was relatively short.

Born in Williams, Minnesota, Schmidt scored 25 goals for the EHL's Boston Olympics in 1942-43. The next year he was called up for a few NHL games before he was returned to the Olympics. Schmidt retired the next year after spending a season with the senior Warroad Lakers.
