Centre Steve Peters played a couple of games for the Colorado Rockies in 1979-80. He was a fine goal scorer in junior who enjoyed a solid career in the minors and Europe.

Born in Peterborough, Ontario, Peters played with four different OHA clubs. He was drafted 64th overall by the Rockies in 1979 after notching 36 goals for the Ottawa 67s. Apart from his brief NHL cameo, Peters was an efficient player in the IHL and CHL before he opted to go to Europe. He retired in 1990 after six years in Germany, Finland and Switzerland.
