Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Nick Metz
Nick was the older brother of Don; both Metz brothers played their entire careers in Toronto. Nick joined the Leafs in 1934-35 after playing with St. Michael's Majors for two seasons.

With a two-season break for military duty during World War II, Nick Metz played twelve seasons in blue and white. Although primarily a checking forward, he could score as well, enjoying a 22-goal during the Leafs' Stanley Cup-winning season in 1944-45. In fact, Metz helped the Maple Leafs win four Stanley Cups during his career in Toronto.

He retired at the conclusion of the 1947-48 season a year before his brother.
