Legends of Hockey -- NHL Player Search -- Player -- Charlie Langlois
Charlie Langlois played with four different NHL teams in the 20s. He was a versatile performer who could contribute on defence or right-wing.

Born in Latbiniere, Quebec, Langlois played senior hockey in Montreal before moving on to the Sudbury Wolves of the NOHA for five years. In October 1924 he was signed as a free agent by the Hamilton Tigers and scored six goals as an NHL rookie. The next year he was shifted to New York along with the rest of his teammates after their labour dispute with the Tigers at the end of the previous season.

In December 1926 Langlois was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins for Lionel Conacher. He scored five goals and played solid defence for his new club then joined the Montreal Canadiens on loan for most of the 1927-28 season. Langlois retired in 1932 after playing in the Can-Am league and the AHA.
