Defenceman Kevin Krook played briefly with the Colorado Rockies in 1978-79. His pro career lasted less than one season.
Born in Cold Lake, Alberta, Krook scored 70 points and was an intimidating force on the blueline for the Bellingham Bulls of the B.C. junior league in 1974-75. He then moved on to the WCJHL where he suited up for the New Westminster Bruins, Calgary Centennials, and Regina Pats. During his last two years of junior Krook was particularly noticeable with 82 points and 321 penalty minutes.
The Colorado Rockies selected Krook 142nd overall in the 1978 Amateur Draft. He played most of the 1978-79 season with the Muskegon Mohawks of the IHL in addition to his three NHL appearances.
