Left-winger Peter Gustavsson played a couple of games for the Colorado Rockies in 1981-82. He was a solid two-way performer who was best known for his work in the Swedish Elite League.
Born in Bollebydg, Sweden Gustavsson spent two years as a utility player with Vastra Frolunda beginning in 1977-78. In 1979-80 he broke through with 14 goals after being given more ice time and responsibility.
Gustavsson signed as a free agent with the Rockies in May, 1981 but spent most of the next season with the Fort Worth Texans of the CHL. He abandoned his North American experiment after a year and returrned to Vastra Frolunda where he competed for two more years before retiring in 1984.
